Corporate Chauffeur Department Manager

Queens based, family owned and operated luxury limousine company seeks a Corporate Chauffeur Trainer to join our worldwide luxury service team.  The detail orientated, computer literate and customer service friendly candidate will be responsible for hiring, training and development of a staff of 70 professional chauffeurs.

The ideal candidates will possess the following skills:

-Higher Education or equivalent work experience is necessary. References must be provided.

-Excellent communication skill.  The ability to communicate, verbally as well as in writing, is very important.  Excellent presentation skills, for example, power point etc., are also necessary.

-Excellent teaching skills

-Critical thinking. The ability to ask the right questions, separate facts from assumptions, and determine what is relevant and what is not in the decision-making process.

Negotiating skills.  The ability to aggregate and rationalize information to leverage company’s position.

Comfortable interacting at multiple levels. From chauffeurs up to the CEO, fleet managers interact with other employees at all levels of the company, and must be comfortable communicating with all of them.

Ability to supervise and oversee the work of others.


Roles and Responsibilities include:

 -Design, implement and manage a chauffeur training program, including developing standards and management thereof.

 -Design and implement a performance appraisal process wherein all chauffeurs are observed, coached and documented.

-Establish Service Level Agreements for Chauffeur performance, from on time to in the field performance.

-Implement development plans for each chauffeur, including, continuing education and the technical training and development of the chauffeur team – from iPads, PDA’s, smart phones the candidate should be able to develop training plans for the various “tech” levels within the Chauffeur Department.

-Assist in the TLC & NYS Licensing processes, including, liaising between Council, Company and the chauffeur

-Full life cycle involvement in the hiring and firing processes.

-Create departmental expense and capital budgets, to submit for approval to management.  Track performance versus forecast on a monthly (or as needed) basis.

-Create teaching and development aides teach/guide raining of technology deployments amongst the assessment and deployment of chauffeur/vehicle based technology to create brand separation.
